With over 30 years of experience in the propane industry, Les has worked in all facets of the business. From the time that he was pumping propane into vehicles and cylinders as a part-time job, there was something about this industry that piqued Les’ interest.
Working as a front-end attendant, parts man, truck driver, gas fitter, middle and upper management and even in the IT department, Les has done it all.
Prior to starting up his own company, Les had the privilege of moving and working at a lot of different locations throughout Western Canada, gaining invaluable experience servicing many different industries that use propane. Some of which include but not limited to commercial heat, commercial cooking, propane barge operations, vehicle conversions, home heat, greenhouses, agricultural barns, construction heat, oilfield, grain drying and irrigation.
With the desire to settle down with his young family, Les decided back in 1998 to take control of his destiny and put some of the valuable experience that he was able to obtain to start up his own propane business, Heritage Propane Ltd. What originally started as a one-man, one-truck operation has now grown into a diversified team of employees, multiple bulk delivery trucks, picker trucks and large storage vessels located in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
It brings Les great pleasure to spend time talking with his customers, some of which he has had the privilege to get to know on a personal basis over the years.
Les is extremely proud of the team that he works with and the fact that they all share with him the same philosophies of Safety, Integrity, Customer Service and Quality.
